  •  MY STORY

I have come a long way in my quest for abundance and balance and I have now become convinced over the power of mind over matter. Everything depends on one’s mindset; developing the right mindset. It is the only way that it is possible to explain how people exposed to the same factors or environment can have totally different outcomes. One can be an extremely happy and positive individual while the other completely miserable and depressed most of the time.

I feel have a purpose in life which guides my life even in the worst of circumstances ,in fact it is in these very challenging times that I mostly draw my strength from it, it simply keeps me going and l am able to continue seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I feel that my mindset has undergone a vital transformation for the better and my concentration and attention to things that matter has improved tremendously. if it were not so I would not have been able once again step up on my lessons and assignments because l realize that l am not perfect but I can undergo step by step improvements and corrections as l go on my journey in life and realize that at whatever stage I am I need to enjoy the process because no one can ever say that they have arrived, arriving is just an illusion which will only keep you from enjoying the present in the hope that the enjoyment will only come at that stage when everything has fallen perfectly in place! When is that going to be, in the meantime you are punishing yourself in misery which is continuously reinforced? The answer to this myth is to apply the kaizen principle throughout your life . I find your Lesson 137 a wonderful reminder of the fact that if you are not happy now in your present circumstances; a change of environment will not be the answer; it will just be a short time thrill before you slide back into your miserly! This is because happiness as I have now realized comes from within not from without.

Some of the things that I have been able to do since I started on this journey of being mentored

    • I now have a budget in place and it is revised quite often during the course of the month and I am able to see clearly that I have no surplus and I know where the money is going. This has empowered me into knowing what needs to be done even though my progress is still not what I would have liked to be at this point in time

    • I have set up a family trust as well as a property trust although they are still empty ;l know what I need to do when the time or opportunity comes because I need to open the accounts and register with the receiver of revenue. In the meantime l have taken your tax tips very seriously and keep on revising them so that I can be able to apply them or at least whoever I hire to do it for me at the beginning will get instructions from me as to what I want. This means more control.

    • I have started noting down my daily activities which has made my life less random and made me realize how much time l have sometimes wasted away in frivolous activities or idleness(as opposed to proper resting because resting is important)

    • I have formulated power goals for myself At the moment I can say that only three of them have been what I consider serious in that I put in plenty of effort to get the process right and try to see them through using power morphing. One of the three power goals was to set up a trust.

    • If it were not for Powermorphing my trust would not be in place now because believe me without a surplus and much bad debt it never looked that I would see it through because I did not have the money and my family needs were forever rising on a daily basis. I just committed and kept on listening to and watching your DVDs especially the one were you say that once you commit you will find the way and also that the fact that the answer to my problems was in my own hands. Believe me the solution came from my own hands! I have since experienced so many small miracles in my life that I can only attribute to the Powermorphing philosophy yet I know that I have not tapped even 1% of its immense power.

    • My son got a wonderful opportunity to further his career that I can only attribute to more positive energy in the home. l will expound more on this one after everything has fallen in place as we are waiting for what I know will be a positive outcome for him and the family as a whole

    • I have had the courage to invest in myself by attending not only your workshops but also others that I have found of value and this has powered my understanding of myself. Before I just used to say l cannot afford it! And that these kind of opportunities were for others only! I now know that I just needed to make a switch to the “right mindset”

    • The stumbles that I encounter along my journey are no longer able to keep me down they just inspire me to look for the solution elsewhere because I know that there is a solution to every problem or challenge that I encounter ,and I have been able to pick up some valuable lessons along the way some of which are: being positive is always better than being negative whatever the circumstances, bad debt is always bad and the earlier one gets rid of it and avoids it in future the better; fixing the mortgage rate is not such a rosy idea especially as there are alternatives like following the Mercedes principle; all the corporations we are dealing with on a daily basis are in for the money so unless we think for ourselves they will take as for a ride and milk us to the core!; you can never learn enough; I do not need money to become wealthy because the two are not equal as I now realize that money is simply a by product of wealth so it cannot be the cause of wealth; I become and manifest what I think; taking responsibility of my life and anything else in my life gives me more control and so I can manage it better in order to get the outcome I desire. There is a lot more than I can remember to cite here but I am enjoying the growth. I am even able to contribute once in a while and I know that once I have a surplus I will be able to improve this area of my life in the meantime l try to show love to those I encounter in my life.

    • The bamboo story has inspired me to continue with my quest to improve myself as I have understood more about the time lag between the thought and the manifestation in the physical world and to understand that even when I do not yet see the results outward signs in fact everything is happening underneath and it is a matter of time before the fruits become visible.

    • I am learning and appreciating that even relationships need to be worked otherwise they die. And even more important that I have managed to maintain a positive attitude in this area and improving in small bits as per the kaizen concept.

I did not have the opportunity to wish The Wealth Creation Team a Happy Xmas and Prosperous New Year but please accept my best wishes for 2009 and beyond!

    Kind Regards

    Steve
