I have just discovered a new lease of life. I no longer feel intimidated by the hustles of modern day living. l take everything in my stride and l have kept on learning. Some of the things l have managed to do so far as a result of the mentoring course and since I discovered the Dreyers. I negotiated the following with the banks and attorneys which improved my cashflow (a) a longer term that l was comfortable with and a 1.5% less on the bond rate on my primary residence . (b) a longer term on my investment property and saved R800 on lawyers fees (c) fired an incompetent letting agent for one who is delivering better service (d) converted my garage into a granny flat which cost the bank R80 000 (due to some delays it took 5 instead of 3 months to complete) but it is generating R1500 per month (+) cash flow (R1650 – R150 letting fee). (e) Installed an electric meter in the main house which tells me exactly how much electricity my granny flat tenant is using so can incorporate or include it in the rental figure ( better control) (f) I have recently had a fill of the property investments website for one month and got a better insight of its immense potential (g) Got a powerful insight into trusts and made a goal to order the trust DVDs before the 20th July 2007. 1 arrived for the powermorhing course on Saturday 26th May 2007 completely unaware that at that venue were I had booked my accommodation was being used for the mental breakthrough workshop. Having settled in I decided to take a stroll outside and the first thing that attracted my attention was a huge fire somewhere in the yard. Nothing could have been more welcome as it was becoming more and more chilly by the hour. I asked the lady there if I could just be near for the warmth and wouldn’t interfere with their party. The lady said to me that I was more than welcome. Little did l know that I had stumbled in on an experience that will forever change my perception of myself and my life. As it emerged the lady I was talking to was non other than Tanja Dreyer who explained to me that they were not preparing a braai but rather a fire walk. I eagerly requested her if l could just be given the chance to witness ( I had seen some pictures on the website). I could never have prepared myself for the answer she gave to me that indicated that I could even join the group for the remainder of the workshop for FREE but even less prepared for what was to follow for me later that evening. For after only those few minutes that I listened to Hannes brief on firewalking I did myself firewalk twice that evening! Talk about unleashing a potential that I could never dreamt that I possessed. That evening taught me the power of the mind, it is all in the mind, I do not possess any special magical powers but l did firewalk without getting any blisters whatsoever! That night I said to myself that if l can firewalk then I can do anything. All I need is to prepare my mind correctly for the task ahead and it will be conquered. From that one experience l am now a different person .l went to my own powermorphing course the following day transformed into a more dynamically positive individual. Thank you very much Tanja and Hannes for helping me to rediscover myself. The following morning(Monday) l missed my plane because my transport got stuck in the early morning traffic(Pretoria to Johannesburg) which I had underestimated ( l am not a Pretoria or Johannesburg person.). But that is not the point; l was surprised by the calmness with which I handled that situation when I would have normally descended into a panic (negative energy). I knew that my goal was to be in East London that very day, and I was there 1 1/2 hours later by hopping into another plane that was leaving within the hour. Now this may not appear significant to some; but lf you were to know the background and conditioning that I grew in( that is a different story) you will understand that the way I handled this experience at the airport without losing sight of my goal signifies a major shift into a more positive mindset. Yesterday (31st June 2007) I fulfilled one of my goals by ordering the Trust DVDs and l am now truly enjoying my accelerated growth which I know will manifest itself into further positive action. I will conclude with this quote that I got from the powermorphing workshop that has since also had a profound effect on my mindset. “You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true.
