While I am not out flying choppers yet, I find the following amazing thing happening to me: The more I learn, the more crazy decisions other people seem to make. If I look at their financial decisions when buying homes, cars, investments, I cannot help but to spot HUGE mistakes, ignorance, arrogance and just plain stupidity. I have learned not to try and correct them if they do not ask for advice. (ouch) The more I learn, the more I realize that I have more to learn. I have come to the understanding that my future wealth is only limited to the degree to which I am prepared to be humble and learn all I can. The moment you think "I know it all", is when you stagnate. Many people grow wealthy or rich, and as soon as they have a couple million, they think they have made it, and they stop being attentive to everything they DON`T know. I have promised myself to keep on learning, keeping an open mind, being attentive to everything around me. I have written down concrete, measurable and challenging goals for my future, and I use these goals to shape my everyday decisions. This is a simple powerful tool that has already changed my life. I run an electronic development company, and goal-setting combined with simple time management and a healthy dose of tithing is making a WORLD of difference.
