Because of this I strive to make all my experiences class 1 or class 2 types. Thanks to you and the things you have taught me on the Property Pro course, Advance Property Investment Course and the Mentor Program, we are the proud owners of 3 properties and on our way to becoming financially free. We have started 2 businesses, one my wife Yvonne runs and the other I run but they are linked so we get to do things together (learning from you and Tanja). Once again thanks to you, we have the correct structures set up to run and manage these businesses and our affairs. Now for the big deal/story. Back to the class 1 type experiences. My biggest and best type 1 experience I have experienced and still am experiencing was getting married to my beautiful wife Yvonne. As we now enjoy sharing our lives together with common goals and dreams I have asked Yvonne to write the story in her own words. “The incredible journey that led to our wedding day. It all began one beautiful day where the two of us happened to be in Cape Town on business. Mark suggested we take a walk on Clifton Beach. The beach was isolated except for one huge umbrella in the near distance. Curiosity arose as we approached, but before I got closer Mark sat me down on the beach and asked me how much I loved him. There was no hesitation to answer that. He then POPPED the magic question. Time stood still and ever thing around us was frozen. I was frozen; I could not believe what I had just heard. My heart was in my throat. Reality had not set in. Mark put the most gorgeous custom designed ring (designed by him) onto my finger. Mark said but wait I have another surprise for you. When I eventually was on my feet we walked to the umbrella, to find the most romantically decorated picnic setting. Scattered cushions, blanket, rose petals scattered all around us, a scrumptious basket ladened with alsorts of treats. Champagne on ice and to top is off a celloist playing in the background to add to the ambiance. What more could a girl want. The tears just poured from shear joy and happiness. This was a start to a new future. With barely a wink of sleep the night before our wedding, I arose bright and early on the Sunday morning, as we are Christian, a Sunday wedding was the perfect day for us. It was time to focus the next few hours where going to be exhilarating & emotional. I had planned for this moment for so long. My mom, matron of honor and myself arrived at the venue and sat under the Oak tress to a picnic basket filled with lots of goodies to eat. We were accompanied by our photographer, we laughed and had so much fun. It was time to get ready. Once I was dressed it was off to have the photos taken before the guests arrive. My matron of honor dashed me to the chapel were Mark and the photographer were waiting. Mark had his back turned towards me. Once the photographer gave the go ahead, I walk down the aisle for the very first time, when I was about 3 meters away from Mark, the photographer made him turn around to enjoy his wife to be. It was the most amazing experience, the camera was clicking away, the emotions run wild, and memories were captured. We spent 2 amazing fun filled hours with the photographer, capturing the most amazing photos. This was really special as we had time alone together before the gathering. Now we were ready to go and say our vows. All eyes were on me as I walked down the aisle with my mom besides me, to meet my husband to be. We exchanged our vows, placed our signatures for all to see and released the doves as a symbol of peace. It was now time to celebrate our union. As the evening drew to a close after bogging the night away, I was carried over the threshold to our bridal suite, where every last detail was thought of. The next day we waved our family good bye as we set off on our honeymoon and the rest of our lives together.” Thanks Hannes and Tanja for making a positive impact in our lives.
